Some of the takes here a this page are with my new Rogue
guitar I bought for $45 dollars. These two song are from “Bugs
Ctitters” that’s available at iTunes and Google Play. The version
Google Play has quite a few alternate takes.
I learned to surf this summer a bit on a old beat up long board
I bought at a garage sale. I got some good advise to just duck
tape all the cracks up so it wouldn't get water logged and I was
up and going. This song of course pays homage to all the great
songs written about surfing. Don't know if I'll find out the melody
is an exact clone of someone's tune, but as far as I know it's my own.
This is a take of a song I wrote back when I was living in
Minneapolis in ‘86. It's played using an open G6 tuning
I think it is : D,G,D,G,B,E (the lower two strings are lowered
a note from standard tuning) - from "The Sandhill Waltz".
This is a recent take of a tune I originally wrote back in '84.
Most of the words are by my brother Dwight - from "The Sandhill Waltz".
I'm playing my little First Act kid's guitar here in an open G6 tuning I think it is.
